Jamie has been a natural medium all of her life, although spent much of that time avoiding her “gift”.  The past several years, though, have brought circumstances that have enabled and encouraged her to accept her abilities and to use them to help others.

During this time, she has worked with local paranormal research teams investigating local claims of paranormal activity. She also spends time working with children with psychic abilities and their families. Having grown up as a psychic child herself, she provides a unique and empathetic viewpoint as well as support.

She began a blog, ReluctantMedium.com, to chronicle her experiences in 2008.

In other areas of her life, Jamie owns and teaches at a dance studio, does web development/design and homeschools her two children.
